Here at SLF HQ we cant believe it’s halfway through June already. The good news is that means there’s only 5 months til SLF2017!

The Scottish Lipid Forum will be held in Crieff again this year, on the 22nd-23rd of November 2017.

We’ll be returning to the lovely Crieff Hydro Hotel and, as always, the Scottish Lipid Forum will dovetail with the SHARP ASM for those who wish to stay on.

The meeting will  encompass common issues in Lipidology including Clinical Genetics updates, current and future use of PCSK9 inhibitors in Scotland, the use (or abuse?) of Lp (a) and the potential for shared patient pathways across Scotland. The forum is an excellent opportunity to share ideas and discuss complex issues, and I hope you’ll be able to join us.

We’ve been able to secure generous funding again this year, for which we’re very grateful to our sponsors. This will allow us to offer a large number of fully funded places on a first-come-first-served basis. We’ll email you towards the end of the summer with more details of the programme and booking details. Meanwhile, we’ll leave you with some holiday reading found by Bill S: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1567568817300247
